Due to quarantine and the threat of the coronavirus epidemic, the most socially vulnerable children and their caregivers in Ukraine need help more than ever.
That is why the Geneva Branch of the Ukrainian society and Association DETI in support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland are launching the fundraising campaign to purchase medical equipment for orphanages in Cherkasy and in Mukachevo. In Ukraine, we cooperate with Charity Fund Blagomay to coordinate the purchase side, delivery, and instalment of the medical equipment.
Our goal is to urgently collect 57 thousand UAH (about 2 thousand Swiss francs) for the purchase of:
For the orphanage in Cherkasy (where currently 102 children live from birth to 6 years): contactless thermometers; other medical products, cleaning materials, and soap dispensers; hygienic materials. A total of 47 830 UAH;
For the Mukachevo Orphanage for girls (where 99 girls live aged from 6 to 18 years): mechanical tonometers with cuffs for children; contactless thermometers; quartz lamps; hygienic materials. A total of 9 170 UAH.
We kindly ask everyone not to remain indifferent and to help raise the necessary funds to purchase the equipment and medical supplies to these two orphanages in Ukraine. Any contribution is important and notable. Your donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated!
We spend all the money we collect only on medical equipment and relevant supplies. As soon as everything is purchased and delivered to orphanages for children, we will publish photos and video reports.
