Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Ukrainian Society in Switzerland, with support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Bern,  warmly invites you to visit the photo exhibition PROMKA on March 27 from 3 to 8 pm in GENEVE IMPACT HUB.

There will be photos presentation made by the Ukrainian war photographer Oleksandr Kromplias, who himself took part in the military conflicts in the eastern Ukraine in 2014. The exhibition describes the situation in the small city Avdiyivka and in particular of one of its industrial areas called “Promka”, which gave the name to this exhibition. Oleksandr shoots his photos on the film and sometimes on his Polaroid instant camera. In this series of pictures he documented the everyday life of the military conflict participants.

This exhibition was already presented in Kyiv, capital city of Ukraine, with a great deal of interest and attention from the population and quests of the city. The Swiss tour consists of the two events: one in Geneva and one in Zurich.

We kindly invite everybody interested in the photography, diplomats, journalists, representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and those of you who wants to learn more about the situation in Ukraine,  to join us:
