Information on charitable activities

Dear Friends!

We are glad to share with you information on charitable activities and hope for more projects, like this. Together we can better help the children in Ukraine!

Geneva Business School and Geneva Branch of Ukrainian Society in Switzerland provided financial support of 1200 Euro to Vinnytsia region. The nonprofit organization “Association of Euroclubs of Vinnytsia region” which is a partner of Geneva Branch of Ukrainian Society in Switzerland was able to provide help to several people and medical institutions with the charity funds provided.

The nonprofit organization “Association of Euroclubs of Vinnytsia region” used the charity funds for purchasing 2 two-compartment refrigerators for the department of newborn and premature babies of Vinnytsia regional clinical children’s hospital. Unfortunately, the department receives a lot of newborn and premature babies. The use of old refrigerators dating back to Soviet times has become impossible and for this reason the department applied for help. Apart from that, the department will purchase rocking cot beds for children whose parents abandoned them or are serving a prison sentence.

Premature children often suffer from health problems and require constant treatment and rehabilitation. Viktor Marynych, who is 4 years old today, was born in March 2014 weighing 690 grams and spend a long time in the department for premature children of Vinnytsia state clinical hospital. The boy has remarkably good intellectual abilities, like an ordinary child but has problems with the musculoskeletal system. The boy has been on rehabilitation almost every day since he was born. The nonprofit organization “Association of Euroclubs of Vinnytsia region” cooperates with Vinnytsia centre of social rehabilitation of children with disabilities “Promin” which has modern equipment for providing physiotherapeutic support to children. The organization  made a payment to Viktor Marynych (whose mother is Zhanna Petrivna Marynych ) for him to receive medical treatment including physiotherapeutic procedures in the centre “Promin” (the total sum made up 225 Euro).

The charity funds were also used for providing financial support to two children: a boy from Kharkiv, a girl from the town of Kosiatyn, Vinnytsia region, whose parents are refugees from the occupied territory of Donetsk region. The funds were used for purchasing medicines (the total sum made up 315 Euro).

Thank you Letter:

“The nonprofit organization “Association of Euroclubs of Vinnytsia region” expresses sincere gratitude to Geneva Business School and Geneva Branch of Ukrainian Society in Switzerland for providing financial support to so many people!
